Anna was very surprised when she learned that I had no special plans for today because she knows it’s my birthday. She hurriedly invited me out for an early dinner–her treat! We found a pretty spot in a rustic-looking restaurant near our office.

I’m not really big on parties. I usually celebrate my birthday sharing the gospel and food with special people. It’s not possible today, however, because of work. I’m happy to have a good friend who cares about me and wants my birthday to be memorable. I feel blessed having her in my life.
