Floating Market + Buffalo Cafe + Railway Market

I booked the activities today on Klook. Our call time was at 7:30 in the morning and we arrived at the meeting place at 7:20.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

The Damnoen Floating Market (formerly called “canal”) connects two communities: Thachin river and Maekhong river.

Maeklong Railway Market

This place is a heavily touristic area. It’s too crowded.

The stores one by one closed to give way to the train which was only an armlength away from the stores along the railway. It’s surprising that it’s a tourist attraction because in the Philippines, there are also houses located along the railway but it’s not an attraction. 😅

Anyway, it was a unique experience. I think it was the same for the people riding the train. It was also surreal for them to see people so close to the train as they passed by. Some were smiling and waving to us.

When we went to our meeting place, our tour guide informed us that the princess was going to pass by Ratyatraksa Road. Apparently, she is the younger sister of king Rama the 10th. We only saw the car that the princess was in but not really the princess.
